Senior Project Manager Commercial Painting San Diego Paint Pros is seeking a high-level Senior Project Manager who can both lead production operations and personally run complex commercial paint projects. This is a hybrid leadership role for someone who: Can manage million-dollar projects directly Mentors other PMs and field leaders Owns forecasting and financial performance Assists in closing negotiated work Drives change order strategy and margin protection We are growing. This role will evolve with the company. You will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in building the next stage of SDPPs production leadership. What Youll Be Responsible For ???? Run Your Own Projects Manage high-complexity or high-risk projects directly Maintain profitability, schedule, documentation, and client satisfaction Close out projects cleanly and profitably ???? Support & Elevate Other PMs Review forecasts and job costing Assist in difficult client negotiations Coach on change orders and documentation Improve forecasting accuracy ???? Financial Leadership Own WIP accuracy and billing review Improve change order capture rates Reduce profit fade Support A/R alignment with Operations ???? Estimating & Closing Support Review scopes prior to submission Assist in pricing strategy on negotiated projects Attend client meetings to help close awarded work Strengthen GC relationships to increase repeat business ???? Culture & Systems Elevate production standards Improve documentation discipline Help refine Procore + forecasting processes Ideal Background 5+ years in commercial construction PM Has run $1M$5M projects personally Understands WIP, margin protection, and labor tracking Comfortable in client-facing closing conversations Can operate independently without heavy oversight
