Human Resources Assistant Chick-fil-A Freehold Township is seeking a mature, detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support recruiting, payroll, compliance, and team member support. This role works closely with leadership and plays an important role in maintaining a professional and positive workplace. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Recruiting & Hiring Post job openings and screen applicants Schedule and assist with interviews Support hiring and onboarding of new Team Members Manage uniform inventory and distribution Payroll & HR Administration Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing Maintain accurate personnel files Track Workers' Compensation, FMLA, and NJLA documentation Monitor evaluation schedules and send reminders Answer team member questions regarding pay, benefits, or policies Compliance & Team Support Assist with disciplinary documentation Maintain confidentiality of personnel information Ensure compliance with New Jersey labor laws Help foster a positive and professional workplace Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent college coursework in business, HR, or related field Bachelor's degree preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality Basic HR or payroll experience is helpful but not required Comfortable learning HR and scheduling systems Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus Benefits Employee meal discount Health insurance eligibility after 60 days 401(k) with match after 1 year and 1,000 hours worked Paid training and development Opportunities for career growth Sundays off we are always closed Work Schedule Monday to Friday Day shift Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount
