Job Description: The Field Service Technician will be responsible for reading and understanding hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics. The role requires a solid foundation in fluid power, basic computer skills, basic electricity, and mechanics. A strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic systems, and computer control systems with associated software is essential. Responsibilities: Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics. Apply knowledge of fluid power, electricity, and mechanics to maintain equipment. Utilize basic computer skills for system diagnostics and control. Understand and work with hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and computer control systems. Essential Skills: Proficiency in pneumatics, fluid power, and hydraulics. Experience as a heavy equipment mechanic. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and prints. Understanding of mechanical assembly and production techniques. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; or related experience/training. Equipped with knowledge of railroad systems. Why Work Here? The company also hosts events for employees. Work Environment The work schedule for the first shift includes Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This is a traveling field service position. You will only be working 4 days a week, and off on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You will also only be working 3 weeks a month and have the entire 4th week off each month but still being paid since it's a salaried position!!! Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Chesapeake, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
