CDL A Truck Driver - Home Daily

Job Description: Join the Team as a CDL A Truck Driver at XPO! What you'll need to succeed: At least 21 years of age A valid Class A commercial driver's license A safe driving record Willingness to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment Pass a DOT drug test (no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years) Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or be able to pass a company-paid DOT physical Availability for a flexible schedule that includes shifts up to 12-14 hours a day, including nights and weekends Preferred qualifications: Experience operating forklifts Existing hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements About the CDL A Truck Driver Role: Pay, Benefits, and More: Enjoy home daily benefits Competitive pay starting at $29.19 per hour Afternoon shift available Full health insurance benefits from day one Life and disability insurance included Accrue up to 13 days Paid Time Off (PTO) in your first year 9 paid company holidays 401(k) option with company match Education assistance available This position is exempt under the Motor Carrier Act On a Typical Day, You Will: Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples Provide excellent customer service and generate sales leads Load and unload freight efficiently Physical Requirements: Lift various objects (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally over 75 lbs.) Safely climb in and out of a tractor cab/trailer Operate a forklift and other heavy equipment Stand and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as needed Drive for up to 11 consecutive hours in various weather conditions while transporting hazardous/non-hazardous materials Interested in getting your CDL A?
