Computed Tomography Technologist

This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week from Tuesday to Friday, 1pm to 11:30pm. We are in search of a certified individual from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) with a solid understanding of cross-sectional anatomy. The CT Technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality computerized tomographic scans of various anatomical areas, including the abdomen, retroperitoneal region, and conducting obstetric and gynecological assessments. Key Responsibilities: Conduct CAT Scan Radiology studies, obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns. Perform CT techniques and examinations, including abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, obstetric and gynecological scans, as well as assist with radiation therapy localization and minor surgical procedures. Carry out IV access and contrast injections in accordance with departmental policies. Manage supply orders to ensure necessary materials are always available. Review and evaluate completed tests for quality, ensuring production of high-quality images. Transport patients to the CAT Scan room and prepare and maintain the room for daily operations. Qualifications: Training in computer-assisted tomography. Experience in CT or completion of a certified CT program is required. Current ARRT or NMTCB license with relevant documentation for diagnostic CTs on file with the state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary. An Associate's degree is preferred. This position offers a competitive salary range of USD $35.68 - USD $58.84 per hour.
