Keyholder (BAM)Job DescriptionThe Keyholder operates as a limited Manager on Duty by maintaining the physical security of the store, under direction from the management team.Roles and ResponsibilitiesMaximizes profits and customer service by leading assigned category team and operating thestore in adherence to all Company policies, procedures, and guidelines.Operates the store as a limited Manager On Duty in conjunction with the management team.Maintains the physical security of the store they are assigned, and in doing so is a key-holding member of management.Ensures highest level of customer service and handles customer complaints to a satisfactory conclusion.Maintains category merchandising and cleanliness and ensures operational efficiency.Trains and develops Associates within category and facilitates cross-training for further development.Facilitates effective communication to all store Associates through daily briefings and weekly and monthly meetings.Drops off bank deposit and picks up change order as neededPicks up café grocery supplies (milk, baked goods, etc.) as neededPerform other duties as assigned.Core CompetenciesStrong verbal and written communication skillsAction OrientationInterpersonal SkillsQualifications and Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a supervisor role18 years of age or olderSuccessful completion of all background screeningsPreferred SkillsComputer and cash register skillsPhysical and Environmental RequirementsMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to use hands/arms to operate a keyboard and telephone for repetitive motion activitiesMust be able to lift or team lift objects up to 50 lbs., with or without assistanceMust be able to communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without an assistive deviceMust be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, or crouch while performing daily activities of the job
