Job Description: Position Details: Earn an average of $250 per day with an annual pay range of $73,000 - $90,000 based on the number of trips completed. Scheduled work from Sunday to Thursday, with dispatch around 5:00 PM for routes lasting 10-12 hours. Doubles endorsement required! Position Purpose: As a Shuttle Driver, you play a crucial role in our operations by transporting empty trailers to warehouse locations and delivering full trailers to shuttle yard locations. This position requires safe and timely driving on intrastate and interstate routes, adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and maintaining professionalism in interactions with customers, vendors, and co-workers. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Performing all required safety checks and inspections of the tractor/truck and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations. Reporting any safety issues or required repairs promptly. Following all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines. Inspecting trailers to ensure proper loading and securing of freight. Ensuring all necessary route paperwork is available for the driver upon dispatch. Driving and delivering trailers according to a predetermined route schedule. Executing accurate hook/unhook procedures. Parking and storing tractor trailers in designated areas. Ensuring all equipment and freight are securely locked. Collecting and securing damaged goods and returns for processing at the base facility. Unloading equipment and maintaining cleanliness in the trailer and loading dock areas. Completing daily logs of hours of service as per regulations. Carrying out general housekeeping duties as needed. Performing other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: 1+ years of commercial driving experience. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement. Must be at least 21 years of age. Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years. Willingness to work a 3rd shift schedule, Sunday to Thursday nights (schedules may vary). Pass a pre-employment drug test and road test. Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure a new one. Ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move freight ranging from 60 to 90 pounds.
