In this essential role, you'll be responsible for identifying and assessing the nutritional needs of our residents, developing personalized nutrition plans, and implementing strategies to improve overall quality of life. Your expertise will directly impact the health and well-being of those we serve. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert nutritional guidance to patients/residents, caregivers, and staff, enhancing their understanding of dietary wellness. Adhere to the highest standards of practice as set by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and comply with all facility regulatory requirements. Collaborate with various departments to enhance dining services and nutrition-related policies. Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to elevate our service standards. Qualifications: Required: Successfully passed the national registration exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meet the eligibility criteria from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Commitment to ongoing professional development with 75 hours of continuing education every five years. State-licensed or certified as per local regulations. Thorough understanding of regulatory standards related to nutritional assessments and resident rights. Proven ability to educate individuals and groups on nutrition and dietetics. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field. Previous experience in healthcare or long-term care settings. Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.
