Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose: The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a key role in safeguarding the company's assets by preventing financial losses from theft and fraud. This position also supports compliance with safety and environmental programs across their assigned store or multiple locations. Responsibilities include: Utilizing various tools to minimize losses, including identifying instances of theft and fraud. Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports to monitor incidents. Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems to enhance store security. Fostering a culture focused on reducing shrinkage within the store. Preparing detailed and accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries. Preserving evidence for investigations and legal proceedings. Collaborating with law enforcement and testifying in both criminal and civil court when necessary. Reporting any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty. Conducting duties in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to all individuals involved, including associates, vendors, customers, and the company. Exhibiting integrity in all interactions and remaining attentive to the asset protection and operational concerns of all associates. Staying focused on achieving store-specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.
