Additionally, our technicians understand that their hard work, dedication, and top-flight customer service skills are the key drivers of their success, as well as the shop’s.Our ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride and ownership in their work and possesses the following skills and qualities:Specific experience with the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair Land Rovers is requiredMinimum 5 years of mechanical experience in the automotive industryASE Certified is a plus, but not requiredExperience with repair, diagnostic equipment, and scan toolsWilling to work as part of a team focused on providing exemplary customer serviceStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain a good working relationship with staff, customers and external contactsPassionate about their work, with a great attitude and willingness to learnAble to follow shop policies and proceduresHold a valid California driver's licenseAbility to work a full time Mon - Fri schedule with punctual attendanceShop ResponsibilitiesUtilize the latest diagnostic tools/computers to scan and troubleshoot vehiclesTroubleshoot and repair major components such as engine, transmission, emission system, and fuel systemPerform routine maintenance services, inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently and safelyInspect brake system, tires, power steering system, lights to make sure they are properly functioningRoad test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properlyReview and evaluate service write-up to determine if additional information is necessary and what type of diagnosis neededUse manuals including diagrams as necessary to complete the repair orderProperly dispose of used parts and return unused parts to the parts counter personUse diagnostic procedure to identify the symptoms of the problem, the conditions under which they occur, as well as how often the symptoms occurFollow safety rules and regulationsJob Type:Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Work Location:Lake Forest, CABenefits:Friendly, team-oriented work environmentWorking for an organization that you can be proud ofA management team that wants you to succeedUniform Service401(k) with company match after 90 days.Forward your resume for immediate consideration.
