The Opportunity: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nutrition Specialist to join our dedicated healthcare team in a PRN role. In this position, you will assess and identify the nutritional needs of patients and residents, implement strategies to maintain optimal nutritional status, and enhance the quality of life in alignment with their personal goals. Enjoy generous benefits that support both you and your loved ones! Your Responsibilities: Provide expert nutritional guidance to the healthcare team while educating patients, residents, and staff. Adhere to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with various departments to establish policies and procedures related to dining services and nutrition. Engage actively in the development and improvement of continuous quality initiatives. What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field (Prior to 2024). Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field. Successful completion of the national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or fulfillment of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' eligibility criteria. Completion of 75 hours of continuing education every five years, in accordance with CDR standards. Licensed or certified as required by state law. Strong understanding of regulations pertinent to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights. Aptitude for teaching and conveying nutrition and dietetics knowledge to others. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a healthcare or long-term care environment. Work Environment: Service locations include Cura Hospitality accounts in Pennsylvania. Compensation: Starting at $40.00 per hour, based on experience.
