Salary: $27.35 - $39.71 Hourly Location : Lincoln County, OR Job Type: Full-Time Job Number: 25-82 (552-1) Department: Health and Human Services Division: BEHAVIORAL HEALTH Opening Date: 02/13/2026 Position Summary The Lincoln County Behavioral Health team is looking to add a Case Manager 2 or 3 to each of their care teams: Adult Outpatient, Child & Family, and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT). This person will provide case management level services to clients involved in mental health treatment. This role is also responsible for providing care coordination, advocacy, and assistance in gaining further understanding of mental health disorders and symptom management skills for clients. CM2: $27.35 - $36.76 per hourCM3: $29.54 - $39.71 per hour Lincoln County follows Oregon Pay Equity laws in reviewing education and experience for wage offer. Lincoln County offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, & Vision Coverage 11% County contribution to 401(k) County funded Health Savings Account (HSA) $40,000 County Paid Life Insurance Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) Kite Festival in Lincoln City Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities Performs case management duties to behavioral health clients, including:Assist in conducting intake screens and or assessments, related to skill building or case management services Assessment and treatment planning under direct supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). Assist in individual, family or group therapy as well as Facilitates and co-facilitates psychoeducation groups as appropriate. Provide care coordination, advocacy, community referrals and assistance in gaining further understanding of mental health disorders and symptom management skills for clients. Complete records and reports according to standards and requirements of the agency, Oregon Administrative Rules, and contracting agencies. Provide clients with aftercare planning and follow-up services. Collect appropriate laboratory samples as indicated. Links client care to community resources, including:Perform or assists with outreach, case management, mediation monitoring, urgent intervention, skill training and socialization, identifying and coordinating vocation and residential services, and daily structure and support for individuals with behavioral health disorders. Assist in development and presentation of education modules. Make client reports and recommendations to courts, corrections, juvenile, attorneys and agencies as required. Other functions:Represent Lincoln County Health and Human Services Department regarding behavioral health issues to schools, organizations and other agencies as required. Provide specialized services as needed; assist in providing training to new employees. Attend team meetings, participates in quality improvement projects and attends trainings as needed. Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport Typical Qualifications EDUCATIONCM2: Bachelors in behavioral science field: Experience can be used in lieu of minimum education requirements. Will accept an Associates degree with 2 years of experience in behavioral health field or high school diploma/GED with 5 years of experience in behavioral health field. CM3: Bachelors in behavioral science field. EXPERIENCECM2: None, must meet minimum qualifications for a certification as a qualified mental health associate (QMHA) as per MHACBO. Must hold or obtain certification within 6 months of hire. CM3: 2-3 years clinical/treatment experience in the behavioral health field. CERTIFICATIONSCM2: Must complete Tier 1 online core competencies within 30 days from hire and Tier 2 trainings within 90 days from date of hire. Must complete an Assessment Matrix, demonstrating a combined 3 years of Education/Work Experience. Must have supervisor complete a competency assessment form. Must submit official transcripts (if using college education). Must have supervision hours primary source verified by MHACBO. Must provide copies of training certificates (If using CEUs). CM3: Classified as a qualified mental health associate (QMHA). DRIVER's LICENSE Oregon Driver's License required within 30 days of appointment DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Bilingual and/or bicultural competencies for the Latino population are preferred. Knowledge of:Mental illness diagnosis, symptoms, treatment and service terminology and the ability to use said terminology appropriately. Skill or ability to: Provide psychosocial skill development. Implement interventions prescribed on a treatment plan. Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA. Lincoln County offers a comprehensive benefit package including vacation, holiday, and sick leave as well as medical, dental, vision which is paid at 90% by the County and 10% by the employee. Other fully paid benefits include life, AD&D, long-term disability insurance. Other optional insurances are available. A 401K retirement plan is also provided. The County's current contribution rate is 11%.
