Job Description:Chief Electrical Estimator / Senior Electrical Estimator Converse, TX | $125K-$155K DOEPosition requires daily in-office attendance Southwest Electrical Contracting Services, LLC (SWECS) Currently an Electrical Estimator but ready to lead a team? Or a Senior Electrical Estimator looking for a company where your experience actually drives the bid strategy - not just pushing numbers? SWECS is growing and looking for a Chief Electrical Estimator to take ownership of the estimating department and play a key role in securing major commercial and industrial electrical projects. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity where you will work directly with company leadership, mentor estimators, and help shape the direction of the business. What You'll Do Lead and mentor a team of 2-5 electrical estimators Manage the full electrical estimating process from takeoffs to final bid submission Review electrical construction drawings and specifications Prepare competitive bids for commercial and industrial electrical projects Develop vendor and subcontractor pricing Support project managers with change order pricing Work with leadership on bid strategy and project selection What We're Looking For 10+ years of electrical estimating experience Experience bidding commercial or industrial electrical construction projects Proven success bidding $1M+ electrical construction projects 5+ Leadership or Senior Estimator experience Experience with Accubid or similar estimating software Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical construction methods Why SWECS Southwest Electrical Contracting Services has been delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, and BAS electrical projects since 2004.
