Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 04/04/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Title: Travel CT Technologist – Level 1 Trauma | 12-Hour Nights Location: Massachusetts Shift: 12-Hour Nights Schedule: Full-time travel assignment Job Summary A leading Level 1 Trauma hospital is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join its radiology team. The technologist will operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images used by physicians in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-acuity trauma environments and be comfortable working with Siemens CT scanners. Responsibilities Operate CT scanners and associated equipment to acquire diagnostic images Prepare and position patients for CT exams according to departmental protocols Administer contrast agents via venipuncture under radiologist supervision Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper immobilization during procedures Transfer imaging data to PACS and complete documentation within the Radiology Information System Calibrate and verify CT equipment functionality prior to daily operations Float between radiology clinics and divisions as needed Assist with patient transport and transfer when required Participate in departmental quality assurance and training initiatives Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT certification (Radiography) required ARRT (CT) certification required Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required Level 1 Trauma experience required Siemens CT scanner experience required Preferred Experience 2–3 years CT Technologist experience Experience in high-volume hospital imaging departments Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging techniques Additional Information Must be comfortable working in fast-paced trauma environments Technologists may rotate across departments and outpatient clinics as needed Strong communication and patient care skills required Apply today to join a high-performing radiology team in a major trauma center.
