Job Title: Industrial HVAC Maintenance Technician Job Description This role involves operating and maintaining a variety of manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure continuous operations. You will be expected to monitor performance, resolve issues promptly, and communicate status updates effectively. The position requires rotational shift work including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities Operate and maintain boiler systems and related physical plant equipment including condenser water systems, air compressors, and air dryers. Manage High Purity Water systems such as WFI, PFW, generated by the person and Distillation units. Monitor equipment performance through computer controls and review recorded operating data. Resolve operational issues and communicate status, failures, corrective actions, and readiness to management. Maintain housekeeping services in utility areas and communicate any concerns. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in plant equipment operation, including boiler operations and air compressors. Proficiency in problem analysis, planning, and organization. Strong attention to detail and effective oral and written communication skills. Proficient with technical diagnostic and test equipment. Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, manuals, and training materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in applied science preferred. Experience in a cGMP environment is preferred. Experience with Field Service or In-House Service. Robotic experience with platforms such as the person and Starlet, Agilent Bravo, Tecan Evo and Genesis, and Biomek FX and NX. Experience with DNA/RNA Synthesizers is desirable. Experience handling hazardous materials and waste, as well as pneumatic instruments and vacuum systems. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in mechanical spaces that may not be climate-controlled, with occasional outdoor work required. Wear gowning, including gloves, hair and beard net, and face cover, and adhere to safety protocols with PPE. Lift and manipulate up to 25 pounds unassisted and perform tasks requiring physical coordination, such as climbing ladders and working at heights. Rotational shift schedule includes night shifts with a shift differential.HVAC Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Greenville, NC.
