On the Shea unit, our exceptional team delivers skilled, compassionate care in a specialized inpatient setting. Our primary 30-bed medical-surgical and telemetry unit serves as the foundation of our department, complemented by additional beds for step-down/PCU and orthopedic patients. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team dedicated to serving our community. Position Summary: As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize your knowledge and skills to develop comprehensive care plans that address the physical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, educational, and developmental needs of your patients. Qualifications EXPERIENCE: Familiarity with the nursing process and customer service principles is essential. National certification in your specialty is preferred. Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting is an advantage. IV skills are preferred, and proficiency in a second language is a plus. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: For Medical-Surgical units and PCU: Current BLS certification is required. ACLS certification is necessary either prior to or within three months of employment. Completion of PCU training is required within six months for new graduates and three months for experienced RNs, or successful completion of the BKAT. NNR is required for OB. QUALIFICATIONS: You must have a current CT RN license or be in the process of obtaining one, and you must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. We value your career growth.
