Candidates must reside in the U.S. and be licensed in their state. A current or obtainable non-excepted interstate DOT medical card is required. Minimum of 1 year documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years. 3 years of DMV/MVR records with two or fewer moving violations or accidents. Compliance with all federal and state laws and guidelines is a must. Regular attendance is essential. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Must complete the Penske employment application and successfully pass background checks and drug screenings. This role is subject to Department of Transportation regulations, requiring a constant state of alertness and safety awareness. Physical Requirements: The responsibilities of this role require the ability to see and hear accurately. Specific vision abilities necessary include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. While performing the job, the associate will frequently move, stand, walk, and sit.
