Employee Accommodation RN Case Manager

About the Role: The Employee Accommodation RN Case Manager plays a vital role in overseeing and coordinating medical aspects of employee accommodation requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). You will utilize your clinical expertise alongside Human Resources knowledge to assess medical documentation and engage in the interactive process to recommend appropriate workplace accommodations that benefit both our colleagues and the organization. Key Responsibilities: Review and evaluate medical documentation related to accommodation requests. Interpret complex medical information to assess eligibility and recommend appropriate accommodations in compliance with ADA regulations. Engage in the interactive process with employees, managers, HR partners, and medical providers to identify effective accommodations. Act as a liaison between employees, healthcare providers, HR, and legal as necessary for coordinated case management. Document all case activities and maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and internal policies. Collaborate with Leave Administration, Colleague Health, Occupational Health, and Workers' Compensation teams for integrated support. Stay updated on ADA, FMLA, and related employment laws, and recommend policy updates as necessary. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. Experience: 5+ years of experience in clinical case management, Occupational Health, Employee Health, or ADA Accommodations. Working knowledge of ADA, FMLA, and related employment laws. Licensure: Licensed RN in Connecticut. We care about your career development.
