OKO Gold Project- Security Clerk

Security Clerk The Security Clerk provides administrative and operational support to the mine site security team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing access control documentation, issuing visitor and contractor passes, and ensuring compliance with site security procedures. The Security Clerk acts as the first point of contact at the security office and helps coordinate day-to-day security administration tasks. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update visitors, contractors, and employee access records. Issue and manage ID cards, access passes, and vehicle permits in line with site procedures. Assist with daily security logbooks, incident reports, and shift handover notes. Provide administrative support to the Security Supervisor and officers, including filing, data entry, and document management. Monitor and manage access control software and systems (e.g., issuing PINs, card activations). Greet and register all visitors, ensuring compliance with induction and safety requirements. Assist in coordinating emergency contact lists, muster registers, and evacuation drills. Track the return of site property such as radios, keys, PPE, or ID cards. Maintain confidentiality and data integrity in handling sensitive security information. Support investigations by preparing documentation and collating reports as directed. Qualifications/Skills and Experience: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a clerical, administrative, or security support role (mining or industrial site preferred). Familiarity with access control systems, security protocols, and visitor management processes is an asset. Working Conditions: Position based at the OKO Project site. Work Schedule 14 days on/7 days off. Transport, accommodations, and meals provided on site. Compensation Package: 1-year contract for the construction period, with the possibility of a permanent position once the mine is in operation. Competitive salary.
