Required Skills: Valid and current State Licensure as a Physical Therapist BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient acute care settings Proficiency in acute care therapies including patient transfers, mobility, and exercise programs Strong knowledge of medical-surgical, neurology, orthopedics, geriatrics, and related units Ability to perform assessments such as strength testing, vital signs, skin integrity, and pain evaluation Excellent patient and family education skills Competence in using adaptive devices and maintaining safety protocols Experience with patient discharge planning and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Nice to Have Skills: Experience working with ICUs, NICUs, or specialized units such as cardiac or oncology Familiarity with electronic medical records such as Cerner Knowledge of therapeutic activities related to sensory response, environmental barriers, and functional mobility Additional certifications relevant to acute or critical care therapy Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program At least 1 year of inpatient acute care therapy experience Experience working within a hospital environment and collaborative healthcare teams Other Requirements: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including up to 2/3 major holidays Local candidates preferred Ability to work 8-hour shifts, with flexible scheduling options discussed prior to placement Must adhere to hospital policies and safety standards This exciting opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $54.12 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit, along with comprehensive W-2 benefits including health coverage, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program.
