Job Description Sample Maker / Seamstress - CONTRACT Industry: Manufacturing Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM Start: ASAP Job Summary: This role will support the Body Armor Soft Goods department by modifying existing non-ballistic product designs. The position works closely with internal teams to ensure design modifications meet functional and production requirements while maintaining quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Complete garment assembly based on construction details and sewing instructions outlined in a Tech Pack Communicate order of sewing operations to pattern maker for production and costing department Suggest pattern or design changes to simplify the production process Add snaps, buttonholes, grommets, and webbing as required Operate multiple sewing machine types and stitching methods as needed Self-inspect garments to ensure specifications and quality standards are met Qualifications: 5+ years sewing experience in compression-active wear or sportswear environments (sports bras or swimwear experience preferred) Strong understanding of textiles (knit and woven fabrics) Experience working with technical fabrics and performance stretch materials Strong flat lock stitching machine experience Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity working with synthetic stretch materials, particularly warp knit and circular knit fabrics Detail oriented with the ability to multitask Pattern making and sample cutting experience is a plus Meet Your RecruiterVanessa Rivera
