Job Description

Join our team as a Global Materials Movement Coordinator! This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while facilitating international shipments and managing the on-site movement of materials. You will ensure compliance with customer standards as well as US and international shipping regulations. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using SAP or similar inventory systems. Receive shipments and promptly deliver materials to the appropriate recipients; update material trackers and inventory records. Facilitate the efficient movement of materials for engineering use and manage inventory returns. Utilize logistics software, websites, and email to track material flow and provide updates to customers. Oversee daily deliveries to ensure all material requests are fulfilled with 100% accountability. Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs using Excel spreadsheets. Prepare materials for return shipments to offsite warehouses, ensuring proper packing and documentation. Verify shipping request forms for accuracy and promptly notify requestors of any discrepancies. Ensure smooth handover processes with engineers, including managing pull-lists and documentation for deliveries and receipts. Compare outgoing shipments against customer orders to ensure completeness and correctness. Assist customers in reintroducing materials into the SMS management system. Control activities at customer docks and support material handling operations efficiently. Adhere to ESD requirements when handling materials. Facilitate physical material movement within the cleanroom and work areas safely. Operate manual pallet jacks effectively for material movement. Conduct inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy. Log materials moved in and out to maintain accurate inventory flow. Expedite urgent material needs to designated work areas. Assist with daily material staging, returns, and organization of work areas. Prepare materials for identification, packaging, and completeness for returns. Be prepared for physical tasks, including heavy lifting of equipment. Work in a clean-room or laboratory setting as required. Commit to efficient performance that meets or exceeds customer service standards. Operate material handling equipment and power tools as needed to support material movement. Maintain cleanliness in dock, elevator, vestibule, and laydown areas according to customer standards. Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent. 0-1 years of experience in data entry and/or dispatch.
