Part-Time Optometrist

Join Our Growing Team as a Part-Time Optometrist! The MedServ Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to provide exceptional care to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of the elderly population through your clinical expertise and interpersonal skills. What We Offer: Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1250 per visit). Flexible scheduling Monday-Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 7-8 hours of patient visits plus paperwork. Opportunity to see 22-25 patients during each visit, focusing on preventative care. Your Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive eye exams. Diagnose and help treat ocular diseases. Prescribe corrective lenses and eye medications when necessary. Provide pre and post-operative care for surgical patients. Educate and counsel patients on maintaining healthy vision. Qualifications: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license. Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse patient personalities. Demonstrated professionalism and personal ethics.
