Janitorial Worker - Union City - M-F 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM - $20/hr Job Description We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As this is a 3rd shift position, the ideal candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision. The working hours are from 8 PM to 4:30 AM, Monday through Friday. Candidates will undergo at least one week of training on the 3rd shift alongside the sanitation manager. Responsibilities General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust furniture, walls, baseboards, doors, and office equipment. Break Areas: Sweep, mop, clean counters, tables, benches, sinks, microwaves, lunch box cubicles, clean coffee machines and stock coffee supplies. Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms daily; restock essential supplies like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Change batteries for paper towel and soap/sanitizer dispensers as needed. Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling receptacles into designated dumpsters or compactors. Essential Skills Cleaning Janitorial General labor Sanitation Sanitize Sanitizing Industrial cleaner Heavy Lifting Additional Skills & Qualifications Floorscrubber experience Spanish language skills Experience in food manufacturing Ability to complete cleaning logs Previous experience in janitorial services is preferred Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, ladders, stepstools, and lift up to 50 lbs Familiarity with industrial cleaning chemicals, safety protocols (e.g., PPE), and industrial cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums) Strong time-management skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Why Work Here?
