Position Summary: As a Wellness Nurse (LPN), you will support the Resident Services Director in the implementation, coordination, and delivery of high-quality Resident Care Services within our community. Essential Functions: Lead and supervise the Resident Services Department associates, including Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.s). Assist in overseeing the medication program and support residents in self-administering their medications. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and medical professionals. Communicate significant changes in resident needs to the Executive Director or Resident Services Director. Support the completion of resident assessments and tailored service plans. Assist with clinical assessments and recertifications per ALSA requirements. Help in recruiting and managing the performance of staff within the department. Participate in the training and orientation of new team members. Attend scheduled training programs, in-service programs, and staff meetings. Assist with scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants as necessary. Provide coaching and mentoring to associates in the Resident Services department. Support residents and families to ensure a high level of satisfaction. Oversee the care provided by the RSA staff to ensure quality standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues. Build and maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, and team members. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment. Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification: Valid LPN license for practice in the appropriate state. Basic first aid and CPR certification. Two years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience. Preferred experience in assisted living or long-term care settings. Experience and/or a demonstrated passion for working with seniors.
