Landowner Affairs Team Member

Akkodis is seeking a Landowner Affairs Team Member for a Contract with a client in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate will lead external affairs initiatives by building strategic relationships with government officials and key stakeholders to advance organizational goals. Rate Range: $45/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Landowner Affairs Team Member job responsibilities include: Develop and execute external affairs strategies that align with organizational goals and strengthen the company's position within government and community environments. Build and maintain strong relationships with elected officials, regulatory agencies, industry associations, and community stakeholders. Represent the organization in government meetings, public forums, and industry events to advocate for policies supporting business growth. Monitor state and local regulatory developments and provide strategic guidance to leadership on impacts and recommended actions. Manage local and state lobbyists and coordinate with internal teams-Legal, Communications, Public Policy-to ensure cohesive external engagement. Enhance corporate reputation through community involvement, stakeholder outreach, and strategic communication initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in public policy, Political Science, Communications, Business, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in external affairs, government relations, or a closely related field. Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with government officials, regulatory agencies, industry associations, and community organizations. Strong understanding of regulatory and policy environments with experience advising leadership on legislative impacts, managing lobbyists, and navigating complex political landscapes.
