What You Will Do At Lowe's, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked store. As a Scheduling and Staffing Administrator, you play a crucial role by: Being friendly and professional, assisting both internal teams (store leadership, HR, and associates) and our valued customers. Monitoring scheduling of drivers and associates to facilitate timely merchandise delivery and efficient stocking. Promoting and practicing safe work habits while encouraging others to prioritize safety. Your responsibilities include providing administrative support to store leadership related to staffing, scheduling, training, compliance, and payroll. You will manage associate paperwork, organize break and training rooms, and maintain accurate time and attendance records according to Lowe's policies. Additionally, you will assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in reviewing, scheduling, and processing candidates throughout the hiring process. In this role, you'll also contribute to a strong safety culture by managing administrative tasks concerning Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Auto Claims. To thrive in this position, you need to be exceptionally organized and capable of juggling multiple administrative tasks throughout your day. The Scheduling and Staffing Administrator collaborates closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers to fulfill administrative duties, allowing them to concentrate on strategic and people leadership activities. Travel Requirements: This role does not involve regular travel; however, occasional travel for meetings, trainings, or support to neighboring stores may be necessary. What We're Looking For This full-time position typically requires availability for 39 to 40 hours per week. Part-time options may require up to 25 hours per week, and additional hours might be necessary based on the store's needs. Flexibility for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week is essential, as is the ability to lift at least 10 pounds without assistance. What You Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year of experience in a retail environment. 2 years of administrative experience, including data processing, scheduling, information tracking, and office software usage. 1 year of experience managing confidential employee information, such as personnel files and compliance data. 1 year of experience working in a cross-functional team setting. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field. 2 years of experience in retail or similar relevant experience. 2 years of experience working within a cross-functional team. 1 year of experience with the staffing process, including posting job requisitions, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
