Salary and Benefits: The annual base salary for newly appointed BPAs varies based on their grade level, with potential earnings ranging from $49,739 to $89,518 per year. Promotions are possible within this career ladder structure, and additional pay incentives, including recruitment and retention bonuses, are available. Qualifications: To qualify for the GL-5 grade level, you must meet one of the following criteria: One year of general work experience demonstrating decision-making abilities and composure in stressful situations.
