Job Description

Pharmacist opportunity available on a per diem basis, supporting a specialized pharmacy serving the HIV/AIDS patient population. This role involves providing compassionate, expert pharmacy care primarily at a community-based AIDS network location, with additional opportunities at a local specialty pharmacy. The position offers meaningful work Monday through Friday during standard daytime hours, with no weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately, specifically focusing on HIV/AIDS therapies Build trust with patients by demonstrating empathy, respect, and sensitivity toward their unique needs Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care Proactively identify pharmacy workflow needs and assist colleagues as needed Maintain high standards of patient communication and support in a confidential environment Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Pharmacist in Florida with at least 1-2 years of retail or specialty experience, including HIV/AIDS dispensing Strong software skills, particularly with QS1 pharmacy management system Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care to HIV/AIDS patients, respecting patient confidentiality and building trust Excellent teamwork and communication skills Dependable and punctual with a positive and proactive attitude Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM No weekend shifts Location: Work primarily based in the Plantation, FL area, with opportunities at nearby specialty pharmacy sites Perks and Benefits: Flexible per diem schedule with ongoing coverage needs Opportunity to join a dedicated and professional team focused on a sensitive and important patient population Immediate openings with time to onboard new talent To be considered, candidates must submit an updated resume highlighting HIV/AIDS pharmacy experience and a copy of their Florida pharmacist license.
