Education Requirements Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported. Required Certifications Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
