Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer III for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA(Hybrid). Candidate must have strong expertise in multimodal data engineering, with proven capability in building scalable pipelines and deploying advanced ML models. Rate Range: $98/hour to $100/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Data Engineer III job responsibilities include: Developing scalable data pipelines to process multimodal image, video, and sensor data across cloud platforms and local clusters. Designing robust data models and database structures that support application needs, analytics, and efficient querying. Implementing ML model deployment workflows for data curation and annotation using advanced multimodal architectures. Building fullstack components and backend services that integrate with data processing and machine learning systems. Optimizing largescale data processing pipelines to ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability. Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to align data engineering and ML system requirements with project goals. Required Qualifications: Candidate must have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related software engineering field. 6 years in software development (Python, SQL, data modeling, scalable pipelines) and 5 years in cloudbased data processing pipeline development, along with 3 years in multimodal machine learning development. Candidate must have expertise in building efficient multimodal data pipelines for largescale processing on cloud platforms and clusters.
