Hours of Work: 0630-1900 Days Of Week: Friday, Saturday, Sunday Work Shift: Job Description: Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, where you will provide high-quality and professional nursing care to our patients. You will utilize the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver both direct and indirect patient care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while supervising other assigned team members to ensure that care is age-appropriate and adheres to unit standards. Your Job Requirements: - Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred - Current Basic Life Support Certification - Relevant certifications as required by the department - Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility for licensure - Minimum of 6 months of RN experience Your Responsibilities: - Communicate effectively and openly with team members and patients - Foster collaborative relationships to enhance teamwork - Take responsibility for maintaining high performance standards - Continuously seek ways to enhance the patient experience - Show initiative in your professional development - Actively participate in building a strong, successful team Methodist Richardson Medical Center is a 443-bed, full-service, acute care hospital located at 2831 E President George Bush Hwy, Richardson, TX.
