Bachelor's degree and three years of progressively responsible full-time professional experience working directly in the field of Emergency Management are required. Must possess and maintain certification as a Florida Professional Emergency Manager (Florida Emergency Preparedness Association) or able to obtain and maintain certification within 1 year of employment is required. Certified Emergency Manager (International Association of Emergency Managers) is highly preferred. Must be able to respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis and must possess a valid driver's license.
