3D Designer - Superior

Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Development of film-like animations and videos: Drawing storyboards 2. Create 3-Dimensional Models and work with lighting, texture, and shades 3. Manipulate and understand 3D software - 3D Max, Metal Ray/V-Ray, Rhino, and other 3D software 4. Translate client and business needs to visual engaging and effective motion graphics and presentations 6. Communicate workflow, lighting, compositing & visual issues through written and visual notes 7. Be able to 'code' commensurate to 3D computer graphic needs 8. Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor. Applicant must have a visual understanding of color, composition, imagery, and topography as to meet client needs. Furthermore, applicant must understand that project management and time management to meet deadlines are crucial and have experience in meeting client demands. Qualifications Behaviors Team Player - Works well as a member of a group Detail Oriented - Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Experience Required: The applicant having Auto CAD experience is a PLUS!. 3D modeling experience (Google SketchUp). Knowledge of Solidworks would be a strong plus. Desirable: Experience in visually stunning displays and animations for client presentations. Adobe After Effects is desirable. Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel a strong plus. Work experience in a manufacturing work environment preferred.
