Maintenance Technician- Eleven41 & Valor On Washington

Join Our Team As A Maintenance Technician in Madison & Sun Prairie, WI! Do you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and helping create communities people are proud to call home? We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to support two properties located in Sun Prairie and Madison, WI. The role supports Eleven41 Main, a 64-unit community in Sun Prairie that participates in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, andValor on Washington, a 59-unit Madison community that also operates under LIHTC while partnering with veteran-focused organizations such as Dry Hootch and Dane County Veteran Services. What You'll Do: Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, and appliances. Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests. Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing unit turns and make-ready requests. Conduct daily property walks and inspections to maintain safety, curb appeal, and cleanliness. Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and pool areas. Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed. Support seasonal maintenance needs including snow removal and weather preparation. What You'll Bring: At least one year of property maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade experience. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record. HVAC EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and participate in an on-call rotation. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay between $20-$25/hour based on experience.
