Palliative Care - Physician

Methodist Medical Group (MMG), a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking a board-certified Palliative Care physician to join our interdisciplinary team in North Texas. To support the continued growth and strategic staffing plans we are seeking to recruit a dedicated, patient-focused physician to join our growing team. This exceptional opportunity is well-suited for a physician who thrives in a collaborative medical group environment and is committed to delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities: Provide inpatient only palliative care consultations for hospitalized patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses Lead and participate in family meetings and goals-of-care discussions Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including nursing, social work, chaplaincy, and case management Support transitions of care, including coordination with hospice when appropriate Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development Qualifications: Board Certified in Hospice & Palliative Medicine Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or have completed a Geriatrics Fellowship Texas medical license (or ability to obtain) Strong communication and team collaboration skills Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive compensation package with production, quality, and patient experience bonuses Monday – Friday schedule 403(b) retirement plan with employer match Professional development opportunities Comprehensive malpractice coverage Rich benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, and 403(b) Annual CME, dues, and professional subscription allowance PTO, CME, Maternity/ Paternity, and Sick-leave benefits Relocation assistance available Texas is a tort reform state No state income tax Why Methodist Medical Group?
