Community Events Coordinator

Point Nine is an upscale casual restaurant in Andover looking for an organized, outgoing Event Coordinator to help manage private parties, catering orders, and restaurant events, as well as represent the restaurant at external events such as networking groups, and bridal shows and help manage administrative duties such as paperwork. This role combines event planning, customer communication, administrative coordination, and community outreach. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, staying organized, and helping create memorable experiences for guests.Responsibilities Coordinatecatering orders and private events from initial inquiry through event completionCommunicate with guests to confirm event details, timelines, and special requestsEnsure event details are properly executed with restaurant leadership and staffAssist with planning and executing restaurant-hosted eventsAttend bridal shows, chamber events, networking groups, and community events to promote the restaurantTrack event details, maintain booking records, and complete related administrative tasksManage restaurant merchandise displays and inventoryReceive and organize incoming merchandise Qualifications Strong organization and attention to detailFriendly, professional communication skillsComfortable interacting with guests and representing the restaurant at community eventsAbility to manage multiple projects and follow through on detailsHospitality, event planning, catering, or administrative experience preferred but not required Schedule Full-time or part-time depending on candidate performanceVery flexible and able to adapt to candidate needs.
