Experience measuring wounds, but not staging. Description: Responsible for running the facility during evenings, nights, and weekends. Serves as a building supervisor overseeing registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants. Not assigned to direct resident care or tasks. Acts as a resource for staff throughout the shift. Monitors changes in resident conditions and addresses resident issues. Schedules outside services such as laboratory and portable x-ray. Contacts medical personnel for resident needs or issues. Only registered nurses perform central line care, chest tube management, IV starts, admission orders, and fall assessments. Accepts long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and dementia patients aged 18 and older. Hospice care is provided, with dedicated rooms available. Interdisciplinary team collaboration includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, case management, social work, and dietetics. Not required to read telemetry strips or attend acute inpatient rehab team conferences. No respiratory therapy staff on-site. Emergency medications are accessible when pharmacy services are unavailable. Works well in a team environment and is flexible with scheduling. Participates in any required meetings or care plan discussions. Professional scrubs of any clean color are required, except for camouflage.
