Flexibility is very important for this position. The candidate should have completed at least one travel assignment. Radiation badge is required. The candidate must be able to circulate. Floating between different operating rooms may be necessary. Call is required during the week, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should be prepared for 30-minute response time for call assignments. Average number of cases per day is between 10-20. The role includes caring for various surgical specialties such as robotics, orthopedics, bariatrics, general surgery, plastics, urology, GYN, podiatry, and eyes. Unit-specific orientation will be provided, depending on experience. Charting is done using Cerner. Hospital policies allow for shift cancellations during the assignment period.
