Wire Harness Assembler

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with an electrical cable and wire harness assembly client in Spring Lake, Michigan is looking to add multiple assemblers to their team. Assembler Overview: 1st shift: 5:30a-2:00p $15/hr Assembler Job Duties: Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, schematics, and wire lists to determine assembly requirements Select wires by color, length, and marking, routing them on harness boards following color-coded lines or sequential numbers Use hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons) to cut, strip, crimp, and solder wires as required Assemble connectors, plugs, and terminals to harnesses ensuring proper fit and function Perform quality checks to ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assembler Qualifications: Manufacturing experience required, prior experience in electronics or cable assembly preferred Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain attention to details Basic math and measuring skills Manual dexterity and comfort working with small components Strong commitment to safety and quality.
