Certified Pool Lifeguard

Job Type Part-time, Temporary Description Responsible for the general supervision and safety of patrons of MVC's aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Should be a superior swimmer who is able to give advice on water safety to users, conduct swift-water rescues and control unruly behavior if necessary. Requirements Current certification in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid (required) Prior experience as a pool lifeguard (preferred) Strong observation and communication skills Ability to remain alert and focused during extended periods Comfortable working with young children in a dynamic camp setting Salary Description $40/hour
