Central venous pressure monitoring and blood product administration are part of the responsibilities. Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions, and phlebotomy is required. Preparation for sudden changes in patient status and rapid response may be necessary. Interdisciplinary support includes therapy services and pharmacy.
