Description: The Registered Nurse will work primarily rotating between the PACU and the pre/post interventional radiology area. The schedule consists of three night shifts per week with 24 hours of on-call duty over a six-week period. Ratios will be 1:2 for patient care. Weekend requirements are not applicable. The PACU nurses are responsible for the recovery of various surgical patients, including GU, GYN, colorectal, minimally invasive procedures, bariatric, and some ENT cases. Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to manage complex patients recovering from anesthesia. The role includes the recovery of patients with multiple drains and vasoactive medications, as well as ventilation needs. Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary support services are essential. This position offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment focused on high-quality patient care. Candidates must be open to floating within the service line as needed. Preferences will be given to individuals with experience in managing postoperative complications effectively.
