Job Details Core Responsibilities: Lead the full lifecycle management of exterior and underground aviation infrastructure projects, from planning and budgeting through construction and project closeout Manage projects involving underground piping systems, aircraft fueling infrastructure, hydrant systems, fuel transmission lines, and airfield utility installations Oversee project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and financial performance Develop and manage project schedules while ensuring construction milestones are achieved Coordinate closely with airport authorities, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and minimize disruption to airport operations Lead and mentor project teams including project engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel Monitor project safety, quality control, and environmental compliance standards Identify risks and proactively resolve project challenges related to scheduling, logistics, and airport operations Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders Qualifications: 10+ years of construction project management experience in aviation, heavy civil, underground utilities, mechanical infrastructure, or industrial construction Demonstrated experience managing exterior infrastructure or underground construction projects Experience with airfield utilities, fuel systems, underground piping, utility relocation, or heavy infrastructure projects strongly preferred Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams Experience working in active airport environments or other highly regulated construction settings preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in construction management and scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools) Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience) Interested in hearing more?
