Description The Business Development & Marketing Intern will support the Proposal Manager and Business Development team with a wide range of proposal, marketing, and business development activities, including but not limited to:Assist with proposal development, including formatting, editing, compliance checks, and content supportCreate marketing and proposal graphics using Canva and other toolsDevelop and schedule social media posts aligned with company branding and BD prioritiesSupport content writing and editing for proposals, marketing materials, and internal BD documentsAssist with organization and maintenance of proposal and BD libraries (graphics, resumes, past performance, templates)Support marketing-related tasks such as branding updates, one-pagers, and capability statementsCollaborate with BD team members to support capture efforts, opportunity tracking, and outreach activitiesPerform quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all deliverablesAccept direction from supervisors and work collaboratively with team membersMaintain professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in all workOther duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training (both required and desired):High School diploma or equivalent requiredCurrent enrollment or recent completion of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field Experience:0 years of professional experience in the required task areaMust have a basic understanding of work to be performedInterns will work 15 - 25 hours per week; summer interns will typically work 40 hoursExperience with social media marketing and content creationExperience using Canva to create graphics, social media posts, and marketing materialsStrong writing and editing skills with high attention to detailVideo editing or short-form video creation experience is a plusFamiliarity with proposal development or government contracting is a plusMarketing or branding experience is a strong plus Preferred Experience and Knowledge:Knowledge in creating custom SharePoint solutions with SharePoint and Power Platform out of the box featuresKnowledge in HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML jQuery, and REST APIsKnowledge in SharePoint Designer and InfoPathStrong customer service/client facing skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsMicrosoft GCC High experience is a plus Security:Must be a US citizenAbility to obtain a security clearance may be required Physical RequirementsAble to occasionally reach with hands and armsProlonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a deskAdhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a timebfb3568a-762b-4989-884b-a9682aa104ca
