Supervisory Procurement Analyst This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. You will oversee complex contract functions and ensure alignment with Department of Defense and Navy policies. You will provide expert advice and guidance to senior leadership on regulations, policies, and procurement procedures. You will develop, plan, and interpret regulations for high-visibility procurement programs. You will manage and direct staff, setting priorities, resolving conflicts, and ensuring performance standards are met. You will serve as an authority in contract decisions, offering recommendations on procurement and policy. You will present written and oral briefings to senior government and industry officials, ensuring clarity and impact. You will supervise and mentor employees, identifying training needs and improving work processes for optimal performance. Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved. You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee and/or lead complex procurement processes; develop and/or implement policies; provide expert guidance; analysis of metrics, and reporting to senior leaders; manage contract functions and oversee use of contract systems; supervise staff; and/or ensure compliance with government regulations for high-value acquisitions.
