Job Description

Warehouse Supervisor Supervise warehouse operations to ensure efficient processes, compliance, and team productivity. - Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and procedures to maintain operational standards - Identify opportunities for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, as approved - Direct, train and develop warehouse personnel to maintain a skilled, effective, and safety-focused team - Maintain warehouse safety and adherence to environmental health and safety standards - Supervise the receiving, stocking and shipment of parts and equipment, ensuring accurate and timely reporting into Oracle EBS (including spares) - Ensure FIFO compliance to maintain product integrity and proper inventory flow - Supervise the marshaling of parts, ensuring accuracy to work orders - Supervise the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials to other business units and third party warehouses - Maintain accurate warehouse records and ensure all shipping, receiving, and documentation requirements are completed correctly - Maintain inventory accuracy by participating in and validating cycle counts and supporting physical inventory counts - Report warehouse equipment failures or inconsistencies to management - Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager - Give manager best advice - Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified - Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager - Exemplify company core values: integrity, client focus, team orientation, and personal commitment - Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws - Recommend viable improvements proactively - Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes - Build and lead a team of committed and capable employees - Plan for, appropriately assign, resource, and integrate the work of the team - Lead, expect, and implement continuous improvement - Own the output of the team - Ensure team members fulfill functional and general employee accountabilities - Exercise effective managerial leadership to include - Two-way managerial team working - Fair and just treatment of direct reports - Context setting - Planning - Task assignment - Ongoing performance management - Coaching - Selection and orientation - De-selection and dismissal
