Logistics Coordinator LHH Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team on a contract to hire basis in Chandler, AZ. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of freight across various transportation modes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations and the ability to determine the most cost-effective and timely shipping methods for our customers. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage daily freight shipments across multiple transportation modes including LTL, FTL, Cartage, Air (commercial and passenger), Flatbed, Parcel, and Dedicated truck. Analyze customer requirements and determine the best method of shipment based on cost, urgency, and cargo specifications. Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers and stakeholders. Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork. Resolve transportation issues and delays with a focus on customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records in logistics management systems and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator in a freight forwarding or 3PL environment. Proven ability to assess and select appropriate shipping methods across diverse transportation options. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
