Job Title: High-level Waste (HLW) Technical Oversight Support Location: Work shall be conducted at the Hanford Field Office (HFO) and the Hanford Site in Richland, WA. Hours: 1 part-time (PT), 960 hours, exempt Compensation: $100.00 - $140.00 per hour; compensation is reflective of the years of relevant professional experience, education and relative work background. AttainX is seeking technical oversight support for our client, the US Department of Energy (DOE), for the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project (WTP) HLW Division Required Qualifications:BS/BA (or AA, MS, MBA, PhD, etc.) degree in a relevant field of study 6 years of experience may be substituted for the BS/BA degree 3 years of experience may be substituted for the AA degree 9 years of experience may be substituted for the MS/MBA degree 12 years of experience may be substituted for the PhD degree 6+ years of experience as design review led assessor/audit team lead/member interfacing and working with organizational executives and senior management or senior technical or business individuals within government or industry on significant technical and quality issues Experience with HFO's Oversight Program requirements to include HFO's Corrective Action Management process Experience performing oversight of HFO Orders/Standards such as facility operations, engineering, maintenance management of a nuclear facility Preferred Qualifications:Comprehensive understanding of the Hanford Site Tank Waste mission, activities and priorities In-depth knowledge of DOE Hanford processes and procedures Proficient in DOE's program management practices, policies and procedures Experience with WTP project design, quality assurance and oversight Familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn and utilize, various technology management tools used at Hanford Exceptional communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Expert-level proficiency specifically in Word and Excel Expert-level proficiency with HFO's Integrated Contractor Assurance System (iCAS) Job Duties: Provide oversight of contractor system design review program. Coordinate system design reviews for the WTP HLW systems. Assist the Hanford Interface Management Team with Interface Control Document (ICD). Coordinate to issue assessment and resolution with HFO engineering, regulatory and other supporting staff. Participate in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), WTP HLW assessment progress and Direct Feed High Level Waste (DFHLW) configurations. Utilize excellent writing and communication skills in all interactions.
