Manufacturing Position Key Responsibilities: Operate and troubleshoot machines/processes required to manufacture Assist with set-up and operate assigned machines in area to produce finished product Apply all safety, quality, ITAR, and other plant processes and procedures to the products Complete proper paperwork per station Keep work area safe and clean (5S Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) Responsible for quality workmanship that meets and/or exceeds customer expectations Perform other duties as directed by the Team Leader and/or Manager Qualifications: Ability to work well with others Ability to follow directions Ability to read blueprints, job data sheets, safety instructions, etc. Good written and oral communication skills Self-motivated Education & Experience: 1-2 years experience working in a similar position is preferred Physical Requirements: Routinely lift up to 35 pounds Stand/walk >90% of the time Responsibilities: Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Achieves production goals. Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks. Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals. Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair. Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements.
